Sony’s ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ nabs Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Feature Animation, while ‘Oppenheimer’ takes home 2 awards and ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ and ‘The Mandalorian’ each grab 1, as 19 professional awards were presented recognizing the best in sound and music editing across feature film, television, animation, and computer entertainment.

Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, and Christina Steinberg were honored for their work on Sony Pictures Animation’s Oscar-nominated hit film.

The two films take home top honors for Best Feature Film, live-action and animated, respectively; annual event recognizes distinguished creative and technical achievement in motion pictures, television, and emerging media.

‘The Boy and The Heron,’ ‘Chicken Run: Dawn of The Nugget,’ ‘Elemental,’ and ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ get the nod for Animated Film with ‘The Creator,’ ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,’ ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part,’ ‘Napoleon,’ and ‘Poor Things’ selected for Special Visual Effects. 

Aardman’s ‘Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget’ makes the cut in 2 categories - Outstanding British Film and Animated Film - while ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ is selected in Animated Film and Special Visual Effects. 

‘Barbie’ nabs 18 nominations, including Best Production Design, while ‘Oppenheimer’ and ‘Poor Things’ each scored 13 nominations, including Best Picture and Best Visual Effects, and ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ earned 3 nominations, including Best Animated Feature and Best Visual Effects; winners will be announced January 14 at a gala broadcast live on The CW.
