Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, and Christina Steinberg were honored for their work on Sony Pictures Animation’s Oscar-nominated hit film.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced this year’s winning motion picture, TV, and new media productions at their 35th Annual Producers Guild Awards held last night, February 25, at The Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood.

Avi Arad, p.g.a., Amy Pascal, p.g.a., Phil Lord, p.g.a. & Christopher Miller, p.g.a., and Christina Steinberg, p.g.a. were honored with the Award for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures for their work on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The Oscar-nominated, Annie and VES Award-winning Sony Pictures Animation hit chronicles how, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman, Brooklyn’s neighborhood Spider-Man Miles Morales catapults across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse’s very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders, forced to redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
