Warner Bos. Animation Celebrates Annie Award Nominees at 2nd Annual Bugs Ball

Top industry figures join nominated artists for evening of classic cartoon-themed music, refreshments and activities.

2019 Annie Award nominees partied in style this past Friday at Warner Bros. Animation’s 2nd Annual “Bugs Ball.” Joined in the celebration on the Warner Bros. lot by top producers, artists and figures in the animation industry, nominees enjoyed a splendid array of gustatory treats and libations, including custom cocktails themed to legendary Warner Bros. animators such as Tex Avery and Bob Clampett.

Other party highlights included custom-crafted Bugs Bunny cotton candy; a Roadrunner and Coyote VR photo booth; custom screen-printed Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig T-shirts; Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck phone cases which guests were allowed to custom print while they waited; a scene from the classic Looney Tunes theatrical cartoon short Rabbit of Seville that was brought to life with a special photo pop-up; and a special performance set from legendary hip hop producer DJ Nu-Mark (Jurrassic 5) featuring a “Bugs Ball” mix of classic cartoon theme songs.
