Charlie's Angels See Animated Action On The Web

Nearly a year in the making, CHARLIE'S ANGELS ANIMATED ADVENTURES debuts May 13, 2003 as an animated series of six, two-minute adventures on the Internet (www.AnimatedAngels.com) to entice moviegoers for the upcoming film CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE. Join the ink-and-paint Angels as they follow the trail of a missing U.S. Marshall, which takes them from Vegas to Mongolia and then to parts unknown. The Webisodes feature the voice of John Forsythe as Charlie, who provided the voice of the Angel's mentor in the original TV series and the feature.

Exec producer Kevin VanHook and his team at Film Roman (THE SIMPSONS, KING OF THE HILL) did production, where he heads Forum, Film Roman's visual effects division. The animated series was penned by Stephanie Savage, associate producer of CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE. Frank Paur was director, Bernard Chang did character designs while Tom Morgan and Mike Vosburg did storyboards. Digital artists were Chadd B. Cole, Vince Di Meglio and Carol VanHook while music was done by Geoff Zanelli and Media Ventures.

Dwight Caines, svp Internet marketing strategy, Columbia TriStar marketing group, oversaw the project as exec producer. The production team also included exec producer Jason Yim, producer Paul Fairchild and associate producer Amy Powell. Viewers can catch a new installment of CHARLIE'S ANGELS ANIMATED ADVENTURES every Tuesday, leading up to FULL TROTTLE'S opening on June 27, 2003.
