Ravel Orchestrate GenAI Automation Software Now Available

New technology helps media and entertainment studios automate, integrate, and manage their complex assortment of GenAI-assisted DCC tools.

Ravel Inc (formerly StratusCore) announced the release of RAVEL Orchestrate GenAI, providing IT and DevOps administrators a single screen interface for the management of assembly and deployment of complex DCC and generative AI environments across teams and pipelines, whether local or remote. The release offers a solution to today’s hybrid media and entertainment studios which are now adding generative AI tech to an already complex mix of creative tools.

The software boasts automated setup functionality, and bulk installation across workstations and servers. Also, in the works is a new integration of AI applications accelerated by AMD ROCm open software stack as part of Orchestrate GenAI.

Ravel is bolstering its generative AI offering with support for AMD GPUs. The integration of Supermicro’s Superworkstation powered by AMD debuts at NAB 2024 in Las Vegas at (AMD booth #SL9099). It automatically assembles and deploys a GenAI environment that includes PyTorch, the AMD ROCm open software stack, and AMD-optimized software across AMD GPUs, including AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, AMD Radeon PRO 7900W, AMD Instinct MI300A and AMD Instinct MI300X GPUs.

“RAVEL Orchestrate has revolutionized the assembly of software applications, infrastructure, and networking through a single-pane interface, providing unparalleled simplicity and efficiency,” said Ravel co-founder and CEO Denise Muyco. “As greater numbers of creatives and IP owners look to adopt generative AI and generative design technologies to enhance content quality and ROI, RAVEL Orchestrate GenAI arrives just in time to take care of the heavy lifting. After winning product of the year at NAB in 2023 for our GenAI solution with Supermicro, it’s a natural progression to integrate AMD accelerated workflows to give customers choice in their compute infrastructure.”

“AMD-optimized software and Amuse stand at the forefront of generative AI technology, ingeniously leveraging the ONNX (Open Neural Network Exchange) platform,” added Ravel co-founder and chief architect David D’Andrea. “These tools are uniquely engineered to support multiple GPU offerings, providing artists with unprecedented computational power. This fusion of technology, along with RAVEL Orchestrate GenAI’s capabilities, empowers creative teams to harness the full potential of AI, allowing them to explore new horizons of creativity and bring their most ambitious visions to life with unparalleled efficiency and flexibility.”

“Today, creative professionals have access to incredible amounts of computing performance and impressive AI tools that allow them to significantly increase their creativity and workflow efficiency," said Rodrigo Mancilla, Sr. Manager, Product Marketing for Channel Workstation at AMD. "We are committed to delivering full solutions that solve problems and simplify access to technology, and collaborating with disruptive companies that think outside the box. RAVEL is that kind of partner. Their technology makes it easy and fast to deploy images designed for end users' particular workflows with amazing management capabilities on top of that.”

Ravel will showcase Orchestrate GenAI at this year’s NAB Show with live demonstrations in the South Lower Hall at AMD Booth # SL9099 and Supermicro Booth #SL9105 between Monday April 14 and Thursday, April 17. To book a demo, email RAVEL at ravelschedule@stratuscore.com.
