Directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla), the epic sci-fi action thriller The Creator is coming home for the holidays, streaming December 20 on Hulu. It’s also now available to rent or buy on digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
Set amidst a future war between humans and the forces of AI, ex-special forces agent Joshua is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the AI developer of a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war… and mankind itself. Joshua and his team of elite operatives journey across enemy lines only to discover the “weapon” is an AI in the form of a young child.
The film stars John David Washington (Tenet), Gemma Chan (Eternals), Ken Watanabe (Inception), Sturgill Simpson (Dog), Allison Janney (I, Tonya), and newcomer Madeleine Yuna Voyles. Edwards and Chris Weitz co-wrote the screenplay from a story by Edwards.
