VeggieTales Star In Their Public Television Debut

Big Idea Productions brings its first public television special to the airwaves with the debut of VEGGIETALES: THE STAR OF CHRISTMAS. This animated holiday special features the well-known characters from the VEGGIETALES children's home-video series. Set in 1880's London, Cavis Appythart (Bob the Tomato) and Milward Phelps (Larry the Cucumber) lead a cast of VEGGIETALES characters on their quest to stage a song-filled Christmas spectacular "The Princess and the Plumber." But then they discover little Edmund Gilbert's (Junior Asparagus) Christmas pageant, featuring "The Star of Christmas," a priceless artifact that hasn't been seen in 79 years, is scheduled for the same night! Do the Veggies find the true meaning of Christmas? Tune in and find out! VEGGIETALES: THE STAR OF CHRISTMAS will air on over 260 public television stations in the U.S. throughout the month of December.
