Apple TV+ Drops ‘Lucy's School’ Trailer and Images

In the animated special, Lucy struggles to start her own school, and the whole gang gains a new appreciation for teachers; based on the iconic ‘Peanuts' comic strips by Charles M. Schulz, this love letter to teachers streams next month.

Apple TV+ has just released the trailer for Lucy's School, a new original special celebrating educators based on the classic “Peanuts” comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, premiering Friday, August 12.

In the special, the Peanuts gang is anxious about starting at a new school in the Fall, inspiring Lucy to start her own school. But teaching isn’t as easy as it sounds. Lucy’s School is a love letter to teachers, recognizing and appreciating the impact a teacher can have on a child. It explores the fear of change and shows how Lucy, supported by her friends, faces and overcomes her fears.

Produced for Apple TV+ by Peanuts and WildBrain, Lucy’s School is directed by Raymond S. Persi (It’s the Small Things, Charlie Brown) and written by Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano, who also serves as executive producer alongside Paige Braddock, Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, Amir Nasrabadi and Anne Loi. James Brown and Timothy Jason Smith serves as producers.

Remember the dread of summer’s end… and heading back to school?
