20th Century Studios, New Regency and Entertainment One have released a trailer and poster for their epic sci-fi action thriller The Creator.
In the film, amidst a future war between humans and the forces of AI, ex-special forces agent Joshua is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the AI developer of a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war… and mankind itself. Joshua and his team of elite operatives journey across enemy lines only to discover the ‘weapon’ is an AI in the form of a young child.

Directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla), the film stars John David Washington (Tenet), Gemma Chan (Eternals), Ken Watanabe (Inception), Sturgill Simpson (Dog), Allison Janney (I, Tonya), and newcomer Madeleine Yuna Voyles. The screenplay is by co-written by Edwards and Chris Weitz, from a story by Edwards.
The visual effects are crafted by Folks VFX, ILM, MARZ, Misc Studios, Fin Design + Effects, Supreme Studio, Outpost VFX, Crafty Apes, Jellyfish Pictures, VFX Los Angeles, Frontier VFX, Outpost VFX, and Clear Angle Studios.
