King of the Hill Returns in January

FOX has announced that the 11th season of KING OF THE HILL will premiere Sunday, Jan. 21, 2006, at 7:30 pm (ET/PT).

In the season premiere episode, Bobby's pet snake slithers down the toilet and Hank turns to Animal Control for help. Unfortunately, the Animal Control team takes advantage of the situation and creates a snake-in-the-city frenzy, putting Arlen in a state of panic. With the control team hissing, it's up to Dale to eliminate Arlen's reptile problem and help Animal Control rediscover their love for their jobs.

It had seemed that the second-longest running sitcom in primetime only behind THE SIMPSONS was coming to an end, but FOX decided to restart production on the series nearly a year after closing it down following the 10th season.

KING OF THE HILL has received numerous accolades, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program in 1999, a Nancy Susan Reynolds Award in 1997, a Women's Image Network Award in 2004 and Environmental Media Awards in 2001 and 2003. KING OF THE HILL has garnered nominations for Annie Awards, Prism Awards and Shine Awards and was hailed as the Best Television Show of the Year after its debut by TV GUIDE, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY and TIME MAGAZINE. The series is translated into several languages, including Spanish, French and Portuguese, and is licensed in almost 50 countries around the world.

Mike Judge and Greg Daniels are co-creators/exec producers and Michael Rotenberg, Howard Klein, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky are exec producers for KING OF THE HILL, which is a 20th Century Fox Television production in association with Deedle-Dee Prods., Film Roman Inc., Judgemental Films and 3 Arts Ent.
