ASIFA-Hollywood’s annual celebration of excellence in animation is set for February 8, 2025 at UCLA’s Royce Hall; tickets include the pre- and post- receptions and ceremony.

The upcoming event is set to transform the city’s ‘Animation Week’ into a hub for seasoned and emerging creators to recharge, inspire, celebrate, and ignite their passion for storytelling, running November 21-24 in Burbank, California.

Set to launch via Kickstarter in 2025, the project is produced in collaboration with the Wit & Wisdom, and follows 15-year-old Bella and her sentient carbon footprint companion.

The conference, running November 2-3, will feature directors behind some of the year’s most anticipated animated films, such as Shannon Tindle, Vicky Jenson, Josh Cooley, and more.

Miyake Design Studio’s Yoshiyuki Miyamae, Sony Group’s Hiraoki Kitano, and WIA VP, Oscar-nominated producer Jinko Gotoh will each offer their unique insights into ground-breaking areas in computer graphics and interactive techniques; conference runs December 3-6 in Tokyo, Japan.

9 artists were selected to participate in the immersive training program for mid to high-level animation professionals who identify as women and non-binary; will work together over the next year to create a short film, with mentorship and guidance, to earn a ‘key credit.’
