The animated film Johnny Puff: Secret Mission has been sold to key territories ahead of the American Film Market later this month, including Germany (Little Brother), Korea (AK Entertainment), Spain (Melies), Portugal (NOS Audiovisuais), Middle East (FrontRow), and Turkey (Wediacorp), according to Deadline. The film stars Johnny Depp as the eponymous Puffin, inspired by the Puffins animated series.
The film follows Johnny Puff and his Puffin friends as they attempt to save their beloved village Taigasville from the evil Otto von Walrus. Johnny Puff will mirror the values from the Puffins franchise, which promote important and universal issues such as gender and race equality and environmental protection. The show utilized absurd situations and hilarious gags to entertain kids and introduce vital themes resonating in society today.
