Pixotope Announces New Executive Appointments

Mixed reality software company taps media and entertainment industry veterans Phil Ventre and Vivian Yu to support its growth servicing demand for virtual production in the broadcast and APAC markets.

Pixotope, a leading software platform for end-to-end real-time virtual production solutions, announced the appointments of Phil Ventre, Vice President of Strategy and Global Business Development and Vivian Yu, Marketing Director, APAC and Global Sales Enablement Lead, the spearhead growth in the broadcast market and APAC region.

Ventre’s industry experience spans sales, marketing, and business development having held high-level positions at Avid, Ross Video, Disguise, and most recently, New York City-based Silver Spoon Animation, which is known for projects including including Nickelodeon’s “Nickified” simulcast of CBS’s Christmas Day NFL game, Super Bowl LVII, and Fox’s Alter Ego. As VP of Strategy and Global Business Development, Ventre will lead the Pixotope business development and strategy efforts in the sports, e-sports, and broadcast sectors, working closely with CEO Marcus Brodersen and CRO David Dowling.

“The more that audiences are exposed to immersive content created with virtual production techniques, the more they come to expect it in every piece of media they consume,” said Ventre. “More than just expecting it, they’re expecting the same impact seen in high-end feature films; Pixotope is making that a reality. I’m incredibly excited to join the team and work with them to address the demands of the market.”

As APAC Marketing Director and Global Sales Enablement Lead, Yu’s role extends beyond the Asia-Pacific region to support the worldwide Pixotope marketing team with additional expertise in the media and entertainment industry. Yu previously worked at Avid and Ross Video.

“It speaks volumes that Pixotope already has a significant customer base in APAC with leading organizations such as China’s CCTV, Singapore’s Anomalyst Studio, Korea’s KBS, and Thailand’s Amarin TV already leveraging our technology to elevate their productions,” commented Yu. “I look forward to supporting our existing customers and welcoming new ones by fostering a community that inspires and connects end users to the opportunities that Pixotope virtual production solutions can offer.”
