Pitch Black Names Mikaël Damant-Sirois VP of Operations

The parent company of VFX studios FuseFX, FOLKS, Rising Sun Pictures, and El Ranchito brings onboard the former Rodeo FX VP of Creative Operations to promote cross-brand integration, streamline processes, enhance collaboration between teams, and optimize global operations.

Pitch Black, the parent company of VFX studios FuseFX, FOLKS, Rising Sun Pictures, and El Ranchito, has appointed Mikaël Damant-Sirois vice president of Operations (VPO). The 20-year VFX veteran brings a wealth of experience to his new position gained in a career that has seen him grow from a classical generalist artist to working in senior positions such as CG supervisor, head of CG, and head of operations.

Damant-Sirois most recently served as vice president of Creative Operations at Rodeo FX, where he oversaw projects such as Lord of the Rings, John Wick: Chapter 4, The Little Mermaid, and Fantastic Beasts.

In his new role as VPO, Damant-Sirois will be responsible for promotion of cross-brand integration, streamlining processes, enhancing collaboration between teams, and optimizing global operations.
