The streamer continues teasing the August 31 series debut with video featuring the original anime ‘Straw Hat’ cast; creator Oda-Sensei shares a message to ‘Crank up the volume’ and enjoy!

One week to go! The live-action One Piece series premieres globally on August 31, and Netflix continues its mission to tease fans that soon… the highly anticipated series sets sail. Last night, the streamer shared a letter from the man himself – Oda-Sensei! The creator of the famed manga series, on which the show is based, updates fans on how it’s going (the live-action version) and encourages us to “watch it on as big a screen as possible, with the volume cranked up, and enjoy it as many times as you’d like!”

And if that’s NOT enough, Netflix also released the official trailer featuring the original anime Straw Hat voice actors - Mayumi Tanaka, Kazuya Nakai, Akemi Okamura, Kappei Yamaguchi, and Hiroaki Hirata, who all reprise their roles in the new live-action series.
