Ionart Studio Ltd. Rebrands as Ionart Studios as it Eyes Expansion

Budapest-based full-service animation and VFX company set sights on expanded global identity; LA-based VFX professional Mark Nazal will lead the studio’s North American efforts.

Europe-based Ionart Studio Ltd. has rebranded as Ionart Studios, aiming to establish a new global identity and expand into the North American market. As part of its growth strategy, it has tapped Los Angeles-based Emmy award-winning visual effects professional Mark Nazal as Business Development Executive and Consulting VFX Supervisor, a role focused on leading the studio’s North American expansion. Nazal brings over a decade of industry experience working in supervisory and department head roles.

The business, established in Budapest in 2009, has evolved from a boutique studio to a full-service animation and VFX company. Its commercial work includes brands such as Lexus and HBO, game cinematics for franchises including Warhammer and Call of Duty, episodic content, and feature films. Most recently, the studio completed work on the sci-fi drama series Halo from Paramount Plus and Semmelweis, a film from Academy Award Nominee Lajos Koltai.
