Digital entertainment industry creators and artists, such as illustrators, game developers, animators, riggers, 3D and 2D artists, VFX and concept artists, programmers, and UX/UI designers, are invited to participate in the Fall Edition - THU Career Camp, a free online event focused on career growth, recruiting and mentoring, taking place online November 7-9.

Free tickets are available here.

Companies confirmed for the event include Lightheart Entertainment; Polygon Pictures; Skydance Animation; Virtuos; Wooga, OPR Games; Outfit7; Playground Games; FunPlus; Room 8 Group; Oxalis Games; Platige; and Triggerfish Animation Studios.

Born during COVID lockdowns, the three-day event started as a place for community and connection. Now, it runs activities non-stop, free of borders and time zones, for digital creators and artists worldwide.

THU Career Camp allows companies to engage and give back to the community.

Tamara Milenkovic, Principal HR Partner for Outfit7, shared that it provides “…direct conversation with the participants and being able to get direct feedback from them on their needs, and how can we do things better.”

The event features the following activities:

  • Recruitment Sessions: Interview slots allow recruiters to get to know attendees and determine if they meet their company's needs.
  • Mentorships: Artists and recruiters from the companies host mentorships (one-on-one or small groups), giving advice and guidance.
  • Portfolio Reviews: Mentors look through portfolios and give insights to help artists take their work to the next level (group and individual).
  • Tribe Talks: Attendees can submit ideas for talks and curate profiles and topics for the whole program.
