Halon Entertainment, a leading visualization company that has worked on numerous feature film blockbusters like Aquaman, War for the Planet of the Apes and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and TV shows like The Orville, has just shared with AWN a great set of detailed images that illustrate their complex postvis work on Plan B Entertainment and James Gray’s outer space thriller, Ad Astra.
Previs / postvis supervisor Casey Pyke led Halon’s postvis team, which handled an array of shots, including the intro on the space antenna, the space walks, Mars takeoff, and final flight through Neptune’s ring.
