Bill Plympton Returns… With Some Holiday Cheer!

The Academy Award-nominated animator’s School of Animation relaunches next month; meanwhile, check out his store for his latest artwork, a personalized caricature, or check out his upbeat short ‘No Snow for Christmas’ for a climate change Xmas celebration.

Academy Award-nominated animator Bill Plympton returns from a five-year hiatus with the relaunch of his School of Animation. Classes resume in January 2023 - previously taught in person in New York City, classes are now offered online via zoom – without geographical constraints!

Over eight 90-minute sessions scheduled for Monday nights in January and February, students will receive insight into the skills needed to make their own animated shorts. In addition, students receive a diploma after completing the course. Registration is now open – sign up here.

More updates from Bill Plympton:

Online art sales will resume on December 27!

If you missed out on the fall in-person Art Sale, send an e-mail. During the "Inventory Clearance Sale" in July and August, most pieces were available for just $100 per piece, plus postage. (Please note that art from "Your Face" and "Simpsons" couch gags was ineligible for sale prices.)

The WINTER art sale kicks off December 27 with a similar price structure.
