Vote for your Favorite eDIT/VES 30-Second Short!

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE 30-SECOND SHORT IN THE 1ST EDWARD ONLINE
COMPETITION

eDward VI is the international film competition of the eDIT 8 Filmmaker’s
Festival. This year marks the first-ever online component of the annual young
filmmakers’ competition, sponsored and created by AWN and VFXWorld in
conjunction with the festival. For the next three weeks, until Nov. 13, 2005,
everyone is encouraged to view all 11 short film finalists and vote for their
favorite 30-second film! The eDward online audience choice award
complements the jury award presented at the festival in Frankfurt, Germany.

The theme for this year’s competition was “Artificial Humans.” From
Frankenstein to Robocop, from Golem to Blade Runner, the stories of
human-made beings have always held a strange fascination. Artificial humans
have been a recurrent theme in the history of the movies, and in today’s
technological world, the prospect of artificial humans living among us
(whether as robots or clones) is increasingly real.

The films are all good and we encourage you to watch them and vote for
your favorite. Vote Today!
