‘Teen Titans’ Live-Action Feature in Development at DC Studios

Ana Nogueira, who is also writing DC Studios' ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,’ will pen the script.

DC’s favorite superpowered teens are set to grace the silver screen! A live-action Teen Titans feature is in development at DC Studios, with Ana Nogueira (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) set to pen the script, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

First introduced in the 1960s, the Teen Titans comic series featured Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Wonder Girl, but was not a major hit until the 1980s when the franchise was relaunched as The New Teen Titans. The revamped series saw new characters Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire join the crew, to massive success.

The comic series reached new heights with the immensely popular Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go! animated series on Cartoon Network, with the Go! series also spawning the feature film Teen Titans Go! To the Movies in 2018. A live-action series adaptation titled Titans also ran for four seasons on Max.

No word yet on a director or if the project will be part of the canon DCU timeline.
