Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Season 5 of Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon’s hit Emmy Award-winning animated adult comedy, on Blu-ray and DVD, with plenty of laughs and a bunch of special features.
The brilliantly sociopathic scientist Rick Sanchez and his reluctant sidekick-grandson Morty are coming to home entertainment in the most over-top-season yet, and with them comes a host of bonus content. Watch as they travel to the ends of the universe and beyond in hilarious misadventures, with nothing besides Rick’s brains, Morty’s hesitancy and a garage full of unreasonable inventions. Watch as the not-so-average family battle against aliens, interdimensional monsters, alternate timelines and more.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has set the release for December 7, 2021; it includes all 10 episodes from Season 5, along with special features including audio commentary, “Inside the Episode” segments, a lot of behind the scenes looks, and more. There is even a never-before-seen featurette - "Fighting Gravity": The Making of Season that gets into the nitty-gritty of producing the show during the pandemic.
