Press Release from Rhythm & Hues Studios

November 14th, 2011 (Orlando, FL - IAAPA) Academy Award-winning animation production company Rhythm & Hues Studios returns to the IAAPA Attractions Expo Nov. 15-18 with Executive Producer Charlotte Huggins leading its new Special Projects Division. Huggins will be located at the Themed Entertainment Association Booth #1354 throughout the week, and is available for press opportunities. She is a noted expert on Transmedia and cross-platforming, adapting IPs for special venue media, the crossover between Hollywood and themed entertainment, and the State of Stereoscopic 3D.

A leading innovator in the themed entertainment industry, Rhythm & Hues’ long list of special venue credits includes FERRARI WORLD ABU DHABI, IT’S TOUGH TO BE A BUG, T-REX BACK TO THE CRETACEOUS, RACE FOR ATLANTIS and many others. The company earned Oscars® for Achievement in Visual Effects for their work on THE GOLDEN COMPASS and BABE, and has received four Scientific and Technical Academy Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, (AMPAS).

Huggins produced the Hollywood 3D feature extravaganza JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH 3D and its pending sequel, JOURNEY 2 MYSTERIOUS ISLAND. But her first love has always been special venue media: ride-films, attraction films, expo films, giant screen 3D and 4D films. She learned her craft on such titles as HONEY I SHRUNK THE AUDIENCE, JOURNEY TO TECHNOPIA and HAUNTED CASTLE.
