OIAF 2023 Passes Now on Sale

The 5-day September festival and TV animation conference, which features screenings, exhibits, workshops, and entertainment, invites Canadian creators to kickstart their animated series concept with the annual Pitch THIS! event – submissions deadline is June 16; kids ages 8-12 can apply to participate in the OIAF Kids Jury - submissions deadline is July 12.

The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) returns September 20-24, promising five days packed with screenings, exhibits, workshops, and entertainment. The event has shared some updates/deadlines and announced that OIAF passes are now on sale and available here.

Pitch THIS!:

The OIAF’s annual Pitch THIS! contest allows Canadian creators to get noticed and kickstart their animated series concept. The submission deadline is June 16, 2023. Get more information here.

Kid’s Jury Applications:

The OIAF Kids Jury is an opportunity for kids ages 8-12 to judge animation made for young audiences at North America’s largest animation festival. Submit a short paragraph or 15-30 second video about your favorite animated film/tv series and explain why it's your favorite. The submission deadline is July 21, 2023. Get more information here.
