‘Love, Death + Robots’ Renewed for Volume IV

Netflix has picked up another round of David Fincher and Tim Miller’s acclaimed adult animated anthology; the next volume promises more original animated entries brimming with terror, imagination, and beauty.

Love, Death + Robots fans rejoice! This morning the streamer posted on Instagram that the hugely popular animated anthology has been picked up for Volume IV. The 12-time Emmy-winning anthology returned last May with Volume III, under the watchful eyes of critically acclaimed executive producers Tim Miller (Deadpool, Terminator: Dark Fate) and David Fincher (MINDHUNTER, Mank), and supervising director Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3).

Volume III’s nine episodes are brimming with terror, imagination, and beauty, with entries stretching from uncovering an ancient evil to a comedic apocalypse, telling incredible short stories of fantasy, horror, and science-fiction with trademark wit and visual invention.

More kudos for the lauded Anthology were announced yesterday, with Academy and Emmy Award-winning director Alberto Mielgo picking up an early Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation for his breakout short Jibaro.

The show is executive produced by Miller, David Fincher, Jennifer Miller, and Joshua Donen. The supervising director is Jennifer Yuh Nelson.
