It’s Finally Here - Prime Video Teases ‘Invincible’ Season 2

At last week’s SDCC 2023, ‘Walking Dead’ co-creator Robert Kirkman share a trailer, clips and a debut date for the long-awaited next season of the hit adult animated series, a coming-of-age tale about a powerful superhero’s son; the first 4 new episodes roll out in November.

Fans at last weekend’s San Diego Comic-Com 2023 (SDCC) were treated to a Season 2 reveal of Prime Video’s hit adult 2D animated superhero series Invincible, from Skybound Entertainment. The first of the eight-episode season debuts on the streamer November 3, with new episodes rolling out weekly. Following a mid-season hiatus, the second half of Season 2 will premiere in early 2024. The show will be available on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The SDCC reveal included a panel with the show’s executive producer and co-creator Robert Kirkman (Walking Dead), a teaser trailer, and extended episode clip (watch below), and character assets. Kirkman announced a special standalone screening of “Invincible Atom Eve.” The Origin episode “Presenting Atom Eve Special Episode” is now available globally on Prime Video.

Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age—except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season 1, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear - that he might become his father without even knowing it.
