IFC Films has just released the trailer for ‘Stopmotion,’ Robert Morgan’s incredibly disturbing new horror film that will give you a total case of the willies! Just when you thought it safe to turn your back on creepy little puppet characters while making a stop-motion film… WRONG! The film hits theaters on February 23 before making its way to Shudder on May 31.

In the film, Ella Blake is a stop-motion animator who is struggling to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother. Suddenly alone in the world, she embarks upon the creation of a macabre new puppet film, which soon becomes the battleground for her sanity. As Ella’s mind starts to fracture, the characters in her animated film take on a terrifying life of their own, and the unleashed power of her imagination threatens to destroy her.

Written by Morgan and Robin King, Stopmotion stars Aisling Franciosi, Stella Gonet, and Tom York. And some scary AF little stop-motion puppets! An experienced stop-motion animator, Morgan directed all the film's animation. Creature effects were handled by Dan Martin; the production designer was Felicity Hickson.

Enjoy... if you dare!
