Animasia Studio inks deal with MBC Group, bringing 2 original animated series to the Middle East and North Africa; shows feature the slapstick adventures of a wannabe magician, and Chuck and the Kung Fu master with his magical egg.
Animasia Studio has teamed up with MBC Group to bring its 2D animation series, Harry & Bunnie and Chuck Chicken, to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), airing on the edutainment channel MBC3. The deal includes 130 total episodes launching in 2023 that feature the comedic slapstick adventures of a wannabe magician and his rabbit frenemies, and Chuck, the Kung Fu master, with his magical egg of mystical transformation.
The popular original 2D series aired on Disney, Nickelodeon, and digital streaming platforms, Netflix and YouTube.
The deal follows Animasia Studio’s previous agreement with MBC Group, which saw two seasons of Dragon Force hit MBC3 in 2020, making for a total of three studio IPs that will be airing in MENA.
