‘The Freak Brothers’ Season 2 Arrives on Digital February 26.

The fun cloud of smoke returns… Lionsgate's adult animated series, based on Gilbert Shelton’s acclaimed underground comics, stars Woody Harrelson, Pete Davidson, John Goodman, and Tiffany Haddish as four pothead time travelers from the 1960s.

Lionsgate has announced its animated comedy series The Freak Brothers Season 2 arrives on digital February 26.

From the world of underground comix and based on Gilbert Shelton’s acclaimed “The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers,” which is currently celebrating its 55th anniversary, the series returns with an all-star voice cast including Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, Pete Davidson, Tiffany Haddish, Adam Devine, Blake Anderson, Andrea Savage, La La Anthony, and ScHoolboy Q.

Joining this season with a special guest appearance is Joe Sikora, who will play Louis, a calm but passionate proprietor of a local fried chicken restaurant inspired by Gus Fring in Breaking Bad.

The Freak Brothers chronicles the escapades of a trio of stoner anti-establishment characters and their smartass cat who wake up from a 50-year nap after smoking a magical strain of weed in 1969 and must adjust to life with a new family in present-day San Francisco.

In the second season, the Freaks and Kitty’s Mary Jane-fueled misadventures will take them from their high school reunion to matching wits with Mark Zuckerberg, settling old scores with Mitch McConnell, and battling Seth Rogen in a Pot Brownie Bake-Off contest.

The series is produced by WTG Enterprises and distributed by global content leader Lionsgate. Courtney Solomon (AFTER, Mr. Church, Cake) executive produces alongside Mark Canton (300, Den of Thieves) and award-winning showrunners Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland (King of the Hill, American Dad). Harrelson, Haddish, Davidson, Devine, Anderson, Shelton, and Manfred Mroczkowski also executive produce. Starburns Industries (Rick and Morty) and Pure Imagination Studios (The Simpsons) animate.

The Freak Brothers Season 2 will be available for the suggested retail price of $9.99 for Digital.
