The crew returns with new friends and gear, ready for more daring forest rescues when the new season premieres November 1 on Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney+.
Disney Junior has shared a trailer and key art for Season 2 of its popular animated musical series, Firebuds, premiering Wednesday, November 1, on Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney+, with the first episode also available on Disney Junior YouTube. Special guest stars in the new season include Adam Pally, Ariel Winter, Bret McKenzie, Ernie Hudson, and Disney Legend Lea Salonga.
From Emmy Award-winning creator and executive producer Craig Gerber (Elena of Avalor, Sofia the First), the animated music-filled series follows a team of young kids, the children of first responders, and their talking vehicle sidekicks as they learn what it truly means to be a hero.
Each episode has two 11-minute stories and at least one new original song. Disney Junior produces the show.
In Season 2, the Firebuds crew is back with new friends and new gear, equipped to use in the great outdoors. Throughout the new season, the crew embarks on daring forest rescues while continuing to help their neighbors in Gearbox Grove.
Other Season 2 guest stars include Leisha Hailey as Annie Spokely and Punkie Johnson as Cousin Fanny. Returning stars include Aimee Carrero; Atticus Shaffer; Allison Case; Brandon Victor Dixon; Deedee Magno Hall; JB Tadena; José Andrés; Keith David; LaChanze; Lauren “Lolo” Spencer; Lisa Loeb; Nat Faxon; Natalie Morales; Oscar Nuñez; Rich Sommer; Melissa Rauch; Pamela Adlon; Padma Lakshmi; and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
The lead cast includes Declan Whaley; Carter Jones; Vivian Vencer; Lily Sanfelippo; JeCobi Swain; Caleb Paddock; Lou Diamond Phillips; and Yvette Nicole Brown.
