Catherine Winder Launches ‘Future Chicken’

New Canadian multi-platform digital resource teaches kids about climate change without ‘Doom and Gloom;’ fun short and long-form animated videos and immersive Roblox experiences star ‘Potato the Chicken: AKA the Future Chicken!’ 

Wind Sun Sky Entertainment CEO and producer Catherine Winder has launched Future Chicken, a new Canada-based digital multi-platform resource geared toward kids aged 6-10, which aims to educate kids and their families about climate change without the doom and gloom.

A former Lucasfilm executive, Winder has produced the popular animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars and films like The Angry Birds Movie and Ice Age: The Meltdown. She co-created the concept with Annabel Slaight, the founding chair of nonprofit organizations Ontario Water Centre and ClearWater Farm, which work with young people through science, technology, and the arts to build a more sustainable future.

“Potato the Chicken: AKA the Future Chicken!” stars across the multi-platform content, which includes 3 x 30-90 second videos per week, an animated series using game-engine technology, and an immersive Roblox experience, Escape Bathroom Obby with Future Chicken! Watch the Future Chicken animated short-form episodes and Future Chicken Today Show on the “Future Chicken! - Planet Positive Fun for Kids” YouTube channel.
