The 15th edition now accepting submissions in multiple award categories; event runs July 15-21, 2024, in Peja, Kosovo.
The 2024 Anibar Animation Festival is accepting submissions for its 15th edition, which returns to the picturesque city of Peja, Kosovo, Anibar July 15-21, 2024. The event provides a platform for animators to share unique stories and visions and features an international lineup of animated short films and features, screenings, workshops, presentations, masterclasses, panels, and exhibitions.
Animation is accepting films in the following award categories:
- Best International Award
- Best Balkan Award
- Best Student Award
- Best Human Rights Award
- Best Animated Music Video Award
- Best Young Audience Award
- Best Audience Award
Only animated short films, up to 30 minutes and completed after January 1, 2023, are eligible for submission.
Submissions are accepted through the FilmFreeWay platform. The deadline to submit is March 31, 2024.
Selected films will be featured during the Anibar Animation Festival, providing exposure to a diverse audience of animation lovers, industry professionals, and fellow creatives.
