Break+Enter Adds Camille Geier as Executive Producer

Former BOT VFX exec will lead studio’s creative, production, and sales teams while setting strategic direction; plans include increasing company profile and recruiting high-level creative and production talent.

Industry veteran Camille Geier has joined Break+Enter, a Nice Shoes company, as executive producer. Her responsibilities will include leading the studio’s creative, production, and sales teams while overseeing operations and directing sales. She will also be responsible for charting the company’s strategic direction.

Geier’s career spans 20+ years, with her most recent stint at BOT VFX, where she spent five years as executive producer with credits including The Tragedy of Macbeth, Stranger Things, Lovecraft Country, Dexter: New Blood, The Mandalorian, The Watchmen, and The Boys. Prior to that she held senior management positions with Click 3X, Curious Pictures, Rodeo FX, and Rhino (Gravity).

“Camille has a fantastic resume and a history of building teams and accomplishing goals,” said Nice Shoes managing director Justin Pandolfino. “We were looking for someone who could guide the studio and set a vision for its future, and Camille is absolutely that person. She has a no-nonsense approach and a focus on getting things done. We take great pleasure in welcoming her to our management team.”

“We have a phenomenal core group of artists and plenty of resources to work with in expanding the business,” shared Geier. “It’s exciting and feels like the right place for me.”

She added that she was impressed with the studio’s technical infrastructure, which makes novel use of remote and cloud-based technologies.

“It’s a well-oiled machine,” Geier remarked. “We have top-notch systems in place and expertise across creative, production and the technology that give us the capabilities of a much larger studio.”

Break+Enter’s recent work includes Servant (Apple TV+), Pennyworth (Epix), The Many Saints of Newark (HBO) and Dexter: New Blood (Showtime). It is currently working on new projects for Netflix and Amazon Studios.

Geier’s early career experience includes seven years at Industrial Light & Magic. There, she produced visual effects for Gangs of New York, Starship Troopers, and Van Helsing.  She has worked with notable directors including Martin Scorsese, Paul Thomas Anderson, Woody Allen, Paul Verhoeven, Stephen Sommers, and Clint Eastwood.

At BREAK+ENTER, Geier’s initial priority will be to raise the studio’s profile among studios, streaming services, and networks.

“I will also be actively recruiting high-level creative and production talent,” she added. “My goal, first and foremost, is to grow the division.”
