Annapurna Interactive has unveiled the trailer for Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, the studio’s first ever game developed in-house. The project is set in the same world as the franchise film series, taking place in 2033 after the Black Out, covering the events between the original film and its sequel Blade Runner 2049.

Witness the moody first look at Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth now:

Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth is the first new game in the franchise in 25 years and will be available on consoles and PC. Development is led by director Chelsea Hash (What Remains of Edith Finch).

Also upcoming in the film franchise timeline is Blade Runner 2099, an Amazon Prime limited series directed by Jeremy Podeswa. Ridley Scott, director of the original, seminal Blade Runner (1982), will executive produce the live-action series, which serves as a follow-up to Scott’s critically acclaimed sequel, Blade Runner 2049 (2017), which was helmed by Denis Villeneuve.

While 2099 will be the first live-action series in the franchise, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, an anime series set in 2032, focuses on the perspective of a female replicant and debuted November 2021 on Adult Swim and Crunchyroll.

Annapurna Interactive, a division of Annapurna Pictures, is known for publishing several hit games, including Outer Wilds, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Gorogoa.

Further details for Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, including a release date, will be revealed soon.
