Apple TV+ Drops ‘Pinecone & Pony’ Clip

Season 2 of the GLAAD Award-nominated series from DreamWorks Animation and First Generation Films debuts globally today.

Apple TV+ has shared a sneak peek clip for Season 2 of the Common Sense Selection and GLAAD Award-nominated 2D animated series, Pinecone & Pony, produced by DreamWorks Animation and First Generation Films, which debuts on the streamer today.

Based on the book “The Princess and the Pony” by author Kate Beaton, animated comedy’s eight-episode second season follows a young girl named Pinecone who, with the help of her best friend Pony, learns that there’s more than one way to be a warrior. Together they’ll show their world how to challenge expectations and that life can be a fun-filled adventure if you let it.

DreamWorks Animation produces Pinecone & Pony with First Generation Films, Atomic Cartoons, and showrunner and executive producer Stephanie Kaliner. Kate Beaton, Christina Piovesan, and Mackenzie Lush are executive producers.

The voice talent includes Maria Nash (Elinor Wonders Why); Alicia Richardson (Mistletoe Time Machine); Andy Hull (What We Do in the Shadows); Rachel House (Foundation); Thom Allison (Coroner); Chase W. Dillon (Haunted Mansion, The Book of Clarence); and Viola Abley (Scaredy Cats, Schmigadoon!).
