LA Shorts Fest

The 18th Annual LA Shorts Fest is accepting film submissions. Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences accredited. We are the only film festival with seven award categories recognized by the Academy. In the past, 44 films have received Oscar nominations with 13 winning the coveted Oscar statue. The Festival annually attracts more than 7,000 moviegoers, filmmakers and entertainment professionals looking for the hottest new talent.

The London International Animation Festival

Begins: October 24, 2014

The London International Animation Festival is Britain's premier showcase for independent animation screening annually, showcasing one of the largest collections of auteur independent animation gathered at any festival in the world.

LIAF is a weeklong event, screening up to 10 competitive programs, plus more than 10 curated, themed and retrospective programs. 

LIAF aims to challenge and inspire audiences with thematic, aesthetic and technical diversity from award winners, outstanding industry veterans and those wonderful newcomers who are exploring their talent on screen for the very first time.

LIAF 2013 screened 250 films from 30 different countries, proudly showcasing the whole spectrum of creative animation, showing that animation is so much more than slick blockbusters and special effects.
