Jellyfish Bolsters VFX Division with Veteran Hires

The animation and VFX studio taps ILM and NVIX alum Jamie Wood as Head of Compositing, also names Peter Seager as Head of CG.

Global animation and VFX studio Jellyfish Pictures announced its visual effects leadership team has welcomed two new key senior hires: ILM and NVIZ alum Jamie Wood joins as head of compositing, and Peter Seager as head of CG.

Wood brings over 22 years of compositing experience to his new role, having most recently worked on Netflix’s feature film Heart of Stone. His VFX experience includes work on major movie franchises including Star Trek, X-Men, “The Wizarding World,” and the “Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

New head of CG Seager boasts 16+ year’s industry experience with a broad background as a CG supervisor, lighting lead, and rendering supervisor. His credits include No Time to Die, TENET, The Matrix Resurrections, and Avengers: Endgame.

Jellyfish Pictures’ VFX output for 2024 includes Ellen Kuras’ Lee, Constellation for Apple TV+, and the upcoming series Nautilus.
