DreamWorks and Netflix Share ‘Dew Drop Diaries’ Trailer

The new animated preschool series follows a group of three-inch tall family fairies who secretly ‘help out’ their human families; the show hits the streamer next month.

DreamWorks Animation and Netflix are launching Dew Drop Diaries, an all-new preschool 3DCG animated series that follows a group of three-inch tall family fairies - known in the fairy world as Dew Drops - who live inside teensy fairy houses on brownstone balcony gardens in “The Big City” and are assigned to human families to “help out.” The show streams July 24.

In the show, the Dew Drops fairies do little things for their human counterparts, stuff around the house that can often fall through the cracks. Important things like making sure your first lost tooth actually makes it under your pillow before bedtime or your favorite toy doesn’t get left behind at the park.

Rick Suvalle serves as creator and executive producer, with Aliki Theofilopoulos also serving as executive producer. The voice talent features Scarlett Estevez; Viviann Yee; Sydney Mikayla; Zehra Fazal; Spencer Moss; Jakari Fraser; Olivia Trujillo; Nick Kishiyama; Olivia Daniels; Reggie Watkins; Bob Bergen; Bill Farmer; Dee Bradley Baker; and Brec Bassinger.
