Andrew Osmond

Andrew Osmond is a British author and journalist, specialising in animation and fantasy media. His books include 100 Animated Feature Films (now in a Revised Edition), BFI Modern Classics: Spirited Away, and the out-of-print Satoshi Kon: The Illusionist. His writing on anime appeared in print magazines including Neo in Britain and Animerica in the US. He has contributed to online outlets including the AllTheAnime blog, Animation for Adults and Animation Obsessive. He collects UK and Ireland news for Anime News Network. Over the years, he’s interviewed such anime luminaries as Satoshi Kon, Shinichiro Watanabe, Naoko Yamada, Yoshiyuki Tomino, Shoji Kawamori, Makoto Shinkai, Mamoru Hosoda, Hideaki Anno and many others.
