PSIAF Reveals 2024 Winners

‘A Passenger from Ganora’ takes the award for Best Feature, while ‘Wild Eye Pub’ takes home the award for Best Comedy; the online event celebrated its 7th year, once again recognizing international animators across a number of competitive categories.

The Palm Springs International Animation Festival (PSIAF) just wrapped its seventh annual edition, which celebrated animation and filmmakers from around the world. Organizers hope to return to an in-person event; the festival, which initially launched in 2017, moved to a virtual platform in 2020 due to COVID.

Event owner and executive producer Christopher Spellman said, “Even through COVID, we remained passionate and committed to our mission of bringing together amazing talent from around the world to shine a spotlight on all international talent.”

Alongside Spellman, producers Sid Passey and Brian Hoff have continued to cultivate relationships with the international animation community with a mission of evolving and connecting the best films and talent around the world.
