The latest NVIDIA RTX and GeForce RTX GPU accelerated technologies were revealed at the Adobe MAX creativity conference; the new NVIDIA Studio Driver is now available for download.
This week’s NVIDA blog, “MAXimum AI: RTX-Accelerated Adobe AI-Powered Features Speed Up Content Creation” highlights the new GPU-accelerated technologies announced at the Adobe MAX creativity conference.
Here are some highlights:
NVIDIA RTX and GeForce RTX GPUs power Adobe’s AI-powered technologies for creators, whether accessed via the cloud or running on local RTX PCs and workstations. Adobe’s new GPU-accelerated technologies include:
- Generative Extend in Premiere Pro (beta), is trained on safe, licensed content and powered by Firefly Video Model. It uses AI to add frames to clips and empowers video editors to fix or add to existing footage without filming again, and even create sample clips to inspire new ideas.
- Substance 3D Viewer (open beta) enhances 3D in 2D workflows across design teams improving compatibility with other RTX-accelerated Adobe apps like Photoshop.
- Adobe Firefly AI tools are integrated into Substance 3D Collection, offering features like Text to Texture, Text to Pattern, and Generative Background.
- Adobe Premiere Pro’s GPU-enhanced editing features include AI-powered tools for speech enhancement, tagging, and filler word detection.
- Topaz Labs’ AI plug-in for After Effects improves video quality, running faster on GeForce RTX GPUs by 30%.
The October NVIDIA Studio Driver, designed to optimize these creative apps, is now available for download.
