AWN would like to thank all the participants who voted in the 2008 Oscar Showcase poll!
This year AWN readers picked both eventual Oscar winners — Ratatouille
grabbed 55% of the vote and Peter & The Wolf garnered 38%.
For features, Persepolis came in second with 24% and Surf's Up
caught only 12% of the vote. In the animated shorts poll, I Met the Walrus
was a close second with 34%. In third, My Love captured 27%. In a distant
fourth and fifth, respectively, Madame Tutli-Putli took in 5% and
Even Pigeons Go To Heaven scored 4%.
